About the series

The Burton Mystery Series is back and heading your way with banked slalom events around the world. Bringing together riders under a shared love for snowboarding, the Burton Mystery Series throws away the rules and focuses on what matters the most: community and good times. This isn’t about winning or losing. It’s about having as much fun as possible.

Don't forget your helmet, it is mandatory in order to take part in the event.

Where

Mystery Series is coming to the center of Avoriaz, France. The event area will be located at the Place du Snow.

EVENT PROGRAM

Please withdraw your bib at the Avoriaz Tourism Office (44 Promenade du festival) the day before the event, Saturday, January 27th, between 2PM-7PM, or on the event day, Sunday, January 28th, between 8.30AM-10AM. A complimentary breakfast will also be offered Sunday morning, come say hi!

SATURDAY, February 1st

Please withdraw your bib at Office de Tourisme d'Avoriaz (44 Promenade du festival) between 10AM-4PM if you wish to participate on the Mystery Session, or on the event day, Sunday, February 2nd, between 8.30AM-10AM.

10:00 - 16:00: Bib hand out @Office de Tourisme d'Avoriaz

14:00 - 16:00: Banked Slalom open for practice (riders must be wearing the bibs)

17:00 - 18:30: Mystery Session

Discover what's happening at the event

Banked Slalom

The event will feature an inclusive, all-ages and abilities banked slalom, including two runs for each rider. Please register here to join as we can only offer a limited amount of spots in order to guarantee a fun but also smooth flow of competition.

Mystery Session

An open Mystery session allows to ride alongside a few of your favorite athletes, progress your own level of snowboarding, and win some cool stuff while at it. You're invited to join the session even if you're not participating in the banked slalom – everyone is welcome.

Music & more

From the beginning of the contest day to the end, Mystery Series is an all-day party. There's gonna be drinks, bbq & some banger tunes. Come and spend a day with us having as much fun as possible.

Masters (40+)

All categories will be split into female & male. Please select the category you want to compete in when filling the sign-up from and choose based on your age on the event day.

We’ll have awesome prizes for the top three finishers in each of our categories. The fastest riders will take home some cool snowboarding gear but keep in mind that Mystery stands for celebrating individual progression, no matter what level you ride on. So come and have fun with us, and stay tuned for giveaways throughout the event day.
